Spells/Crowd Control

Crowd Control usually reffered to as "CC", although rarely on Gaheris. CC refers to any spell that can be used to thin out a crowd of mobs by stopping them temporarily. This includes Roots, Stuns and Mezzes. Charms can also be used for CC, but often isn't because it negates the XP for that monster.

Crowd Control is nearly non-existant on Gaheris because of the prevalence of PBAE. Most CC breaks if the monster is damaged, making it useless in most situations where PBAE is used, the one exception would be Stuns, and AE Stuns, which is a Healer unique ability. Even in cases where a PBAER is not present use of Crowd Control is rare because of players who don't understand how to use it or work with it, and the lack of need because of how common shield tanks are.
