Description

The Order of the Valkyries was started by two stunningly beautiful orphaned twin sisters named Sigrun and Brynhild, who since childhood claimed to be able to hear the voices of the honored dead speaking to them from Valhalla. The voices warned the sisters from an early age that a time of great crisis would soon face the denizens of Midgard, and commanded them to build the Order of Valkyries to lead the defense of the realm against Albion and Hibernia.

Norse, Frostalf, and Dwarven women who choose to be Valkyries are trained to fight using both melee and magic to damage their enemies. They can use swords, shields, and spears, and they have special styles in each line available only to the Order of the Valkyries. Their magic line, Odin's Will, primarily uses Cone Area Effect (CAE) spells, a new spell type that affects every enemy in front of the Valkyrie who is in range of the spell. Effects of Specialization

Suggested Speciailzations

50 Spear, 44 Odins Will, 37 Parry This spec gives you all the spear styles including the PBAE DD chain and the massive 50 Point bleed style. Defense is not the best but with endo regen and a shield tank gaurding you can do masive damage in a short amount of time. 44 Odins give you a ressurection spell (most people do not seem to realizes you can rezz) as well as the highest lvl group weapon proc.

Since the 1.83 patch my suggestion for a Spec are:
50 shield, 39 sword, 41 spear, 9 parry, 6 odins if you want to keep the SpearPBAE or (<-this is the spec I'm using)
50 shield, 47 sword, 32 Odins, 9 parry -Thyrena/Sperber <Eisdrachen> Top 1 Valkyrie on Gaheris atm

Also might suggest 50 sword/50 shield/22 mend/17 odin/rest parry. Ragnarock just hits that hard, and brutalize is easy to pull off since you block so much (Pin/brace are also nice when you have to be the main tank and absorb the damage) (Why no mend specs on the others?)

PvE Utility

Valkyries are now able to wield Large Shields and got a few more hitpoints with 1.83 Patch. Thyrena has over 3000 hitpoints at the moment fully buffed. They are the only Class who can wield and specc Large Shields and imitate Petspam with their Call of a Thousand Storms Ability. Basicly this should result in a good accepttance in groups. Especially in Keep Groups they will be very effective since they can guard and cause the PBAEs to hit Lords a lot better. -Thyrena/Sperber <Eisdrachen>
