About Theurgists
The magical community seems controlled by Wizards who strive for power or flash and sparkle. However, beneath these conceited spell casters lie a strong and sturdy sect of Elementalists who strive to defend their realm. The stalwart men and women are taught the ways of Air, Earth, and Ice, becoming Theurgists. The Theurgist is a summoner, tried and true. He has access to destructive blasts of air, and numbing clouds of slicing ice shards, but his true strength lies in the ability to tap into the life force of these elements and call their spirits. He can then alter the air around his foes or his allies to confuse and haste, respectively. With his hardy Earth magics, he can call magical "skins" of sand, earth, and diamond to ward the blades of a foe. With this abrasive magic, he can also heighten the friction of surfaces around his foe, causing them to slow tremendously. Finally, they command their most destructive magic in the form of Ice, sending blasts of ice at their foe, and trapping them in numbing zones of slush and frost. The Theurgist is a formidable mix of defense and aggression, and is only made better by efficient use of his elemental spirits. With the powers of ice, air, and earth at his command, the enemy had best be careful lest the ground they walk on and the wind they breathe turn on them.
Character Creation
Typical of Classic Casters, their tertiary attribute Quickness does almost nothing for them, that is unless you plan on swinging your staff a lot.
It most likely is best to place your initial starting points in Intelligence, Dexterity and Constitution, although you can put 15 into Intelligence and 10 into Dexterity, depending on whether or not you care about the couple extra health points, and want a slightly larger power pool.
Avalonian is the traditional choice for any Albion caster class, as an Avalonian you will have the largest power pool and do the most damage, but also have the fewest hit points. The difference though is negligible and can be made up with gear.
Briton is the all around average race. They'll cast at the same speed as a Avalonian, have more health points, but less Intelligence means a smaller Power Pool and Damage.
Half Ogre will be able to carry more and have slightly more health points, but will cast slower then either races and has less Intelligence the an Avalonian.

Specializations
Earth Magic is a more defensive spec, with the inclusion of Albion's only Pulsing Bladeturn. Earth pets are melee only, but can do quite a bit of damage on boss mobs in higher level encounters and with a one minute duration last the longest of any Theurgist pet. This tends to be more of a grouping spec.
Cold Magic is a favorite spec for soloing, as it will help even out the variance of the baseline cold nuke. Cold pets will cast cold nukes on their target or go into melee and last 25 seconds. There also is a Snare Nuke in this line.
Wind Magic is more of a damage caster focussed spec, with a spec DD and Ice pets that last 20 seconds that stun and nuke a Air Theurgist can do some serious damage.
Suggested Specializations
48 Earth / 24 Ice / 6 Air This is the typical PBT Theurgist spec. This spec gets 6s PBT, the best Earth Pets, and some variance taken out of their cold nuke.
41 Ice / 35 Earth / 3 Air A more solo-oriented Theurgist spec. They get the best Ice Pets and 8s PBT, not to mention better Snare DDs and damage out of their baseline cold nuke.
